Meet Shawn

Shawn Breeden, HS-BCP, MA

Shawn Breeden is a Board-Certified Therapeutic Coach and Human Service Practitioner with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Over the past two decades, he has worked with hundreds of organizations, families, and individuals across the United States, helping people build the awareness, skills, and confidence needed to create lasting change.

As a coach, Shawn is known for combining practical strategy with deep emotional insight. He specializes in working with bright adolescents and adults who struggle with attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and follow-through — helping them move from frustration and overwhelm to clarity, confidence, and independence.

In addition to his one-on-one coaching work, Shawn has guided organizations in developing healthy leaders and strong team cultures through individual coaching, group facilitation, and large-group training. He is a trained facilitator with The Arbinger Institute, Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence, and DISC personality systems, and he developed the Your One Degree™ framework to help individuals create meaningful, sustainable growth.

Shawn’s work is also personal. Having navigated ADHD himself, he understands firsthand both the challenges and the strengths that come with a fast, creative, differently wired mind — and he is passionate about helping others learn how to harness those strengths.

Shawn and his wife, Autumn, have been married since 1999 and have four children: Troy, Dasha, Tilly, and Samantha. A third-generation Arizonan, he is based in the Phoenix area.

Forward Walking specializes in helping adolescents with ADHD and executive functioning challenges build focus, regulation, and independence through neurofeedback and coaching.
