One week to a New Path...
We know that if you found your way to this page, someone likely suggested Forward Walking Camp for your child. Thank you for considering this opportunity. For the past 15 years Forward Walking has been the premier Therapeutic Coaching organization for families across the nation. We want to partner with you to provide your child with the tools and skills needed for emotional wellbeing, relationship building and positive mental health.
Forward Walking Camp was created for kids who may be struggling with a variety of issues, such as: loneliness or trouble making friends, impulsive behaviors, technology addiction, anxious thoughts, sad or hopeless feelings, difficult relationships with parents, anger or poor self-image.
As a parent, it can be very difficult to know how to help when our kids are struggling. We are glad you found us and we look forward to partnering with your family.
Can a week really make a difference? We believe it can! For years we have created therapeutic coaching intensives using interactive and experiential activities. We have seen campers struggling with many different issues take huge steps forward and we believe you want the same for your child.
We use a variety of weekly themes and activities to help your child engage and connect with others and the 4 Paths (our core curriculum). In 2024, we will have camp locations in Scottsdale and Gilbert, Arizona. We would love to have you join the Forward Walking Family...
Kids can be confident in who they are and know how to successfully navigate their behaviors, emotions and relationships. Struggles with attention, impulsiveness or patience may be hurting self image.
Kids can build their skills to navigate their anxious emotions in healthy ways.
Kids can learn to see and care for others, while holding responsible boundaries which grows empathy among family and friends.
Loneliness is the single biggest challenge pre-teens and teens are facing. Kids can develop tools to connect with others and build lasting relationships.
Campers learn to recognize their own emotional and behavior patterns AND learn to better name and explain their feelings
Campers learn how to make healthy decisions and choose well through healthy executive functioning, optimism, navigating their feelings and self-motivation.
Campers learn to see others and recognize how they can have empathy while growing self-worth.
Campers understand how to build connections with family and friends, and what happens when connections are lost.
